gattaca...

Fuck them all.

When do they make a patch to make babies better and smarter than the asshole bigots an alarming number of them become? Is there a hormone patch to guarantee they are allergic to the psychosis of the religious right?

Fellow history teacher at my high school started a Gay/Straight Alliance club this year. The principal let him know later that, while nobody had the balls to tell the teacher to his face, several teachers let her know that they were really upset about someone "bringing that stuff on campus."

I heard about this from a couple of my students, who are straight but involved. I typically don't have a lot of time for clubs (sadly), but I went to let said teacher know to get ahold of me if he ever needs anything at all.

I teach a lot of debate/argument in my language arts classes. We get political. I have found no better example than the anti-gay-marriage arguments for demonstrating what it looks like when one side doesn't have an argument. At all.

I'm really sorry the world's so full of shitheads, hon.

Thankfully, it balances out by having some truly wonderful people in it.
Like you, by the by.
And since no one ever thinks to say it enough: Thank you for doing what you do for a living. Its more important than most people realize.

You make me smile.

:) <----see?

Had a dream that you & I and a bunch of other people were at a party at night on the beach. Lots of bonfires. Music was so loud that people had to yell in each other's ears, and it was really cold, so you and I just hugged and talked and between songs strangers kept telling us to get a room.

And everyone who knew you & I pointed at us and laughed. :)

On has to purchase the magazine off the stand.
I"m toying with it, simply to post it for free, so that no one else has to buy this piece of shit.
