Wait are you back in the states? Or Canada? Or, um, not Japan? And all 3 of my younger siblings do that, about pretty much anything. And my mom thinks its a-ok
I AM IN JAPAN? im just saying its been bugging me for a while and when i wrote this at 6 am i was in a fit of rage ;__;
i have never met a 6 year old who does this. i mean, even if she wakes up by herself, at 10 pm, SHE WILL CRY. She doesn't even want anything, she just.. WAHHH WAHH MAMA WAHH HWAHH MAAAMMAAAAAAAAAAAA
Japanese kids behave like babies until they're like 6/entered primary school. Until then, parents endure every single of their complaints, HEAVEN FORBID they ever tell them how to behave etc. Because "once they enter school, they enter the system. Then they lose all freedom. So they need to be free until then" <- I'm quoting what a Japanese mom told me. Her daugther was hitting her (as in really hard) in the face and refused to talk and started crying if she wasn't treated like the fucking queen of England. 4 years later, she's a sweet girl. But I don't think she "lost all her freedom" nor that allowing everything is a proper education method. But that's Japan. Deal with it, we gaijins ain't changing shit anyway.
