To-Do List

I'm the sort of person who makes New Year resolutions before the year ends, I guess.

Short-term goals.

• Finish "The Bell Jar" by Sylvia Plath.
• Finish the second season of Nurse Jackie.
• Learn all of the English verb tenses. Winging it doesn't cut it anymore.
• Read at least one Shakespeare play (in English).
• Read Sense and Sensibilty. And re read the rest of Jane Austen's works (in English this time) while you're at it.
• Read some Hemingway.
• Take up French again. (This one can wait until classes start next year.)
• Go to Yoga at least once a week.
• Get a decent grade in my next Linguistics test.
• Pass Linguistics. SERIOUSLY.
• Eat healthy. Or at least don't eat so much junk food.
• Use my credit card less.
• Buy less books. I really need to buy less books.
• Get more involved in the ASOIAF fandom. It's the coolest fandom ever, come on.
• Write some ASOIAF fic.
• Translate something useful. And by useful, I mean fanfic.
• Finish what you start.
• Post every single day.
• Write every single day.
• A thousand words a day.
• Read more stuff in Spanish.
• Write in Spanish a bit more.
• Meeting a friend I've met online.
• Going to a concert.
• Learn how to drive.
• Get my driver's license.
• Get a job for the summer.

Long-termgoals.

• Master French. (Okay, this might be a Very Long time goal.)
• Go to Europe, particularly, but not limited to: Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Hungary, Austria, Liechtenstein... OK, I want to visit them all.
• Visit the places where my ancestors were born. Particularly that Basque church where two of them tied the knot.
• Learn another language.
• Graduate.
• Finish something I've started writing.
• Go on a road trip with friends.
