Tagged by misstopia. I copied the meme in Word and pasted it here, and for some reason it kept miss's format. Stupid LJ.

1. Lots of pillows or just one?
I have a million pillows, but I actually just use one or two. I only have the others 'cause they look nice.
2. What kind of books do you read?
I was gonna say any kind, but it's not true at all. I absolutely cannot digest chick-lit, detective novels, or formulaic fantasy. I like character driven novels, novels with social commentary, historical fiction, etc.
3. What are you most awesome skills?
My talent for languages, I guess. I learn them pretty quickly. My teacher says I've got a “good ear” which I thought only applied to music, but there you go. I'm also very intelligent, even if I do say so myself, lol. And I suppose I can write decently enough, though I wouldn't call my writing skills “awesome” by any means.
4. What's your occupation?
Future translator, interpreter, and hopefully a novelist. But for now... um, nothing. Official Black Sheep of the Family, I guess? Though my second cousin getting pregnant probably took me out of the running.
5. If you had to dress up for a costume party right this second, what would you want to dress as?
Like a Tudor lady! I love the fashions of the Tudor period, with all their jewelry and coronets... *sighs*
6. What's the last thing you ate?
An alfajor. I just dont know how you call it in English, so Ill leave you with this delicious picture:
7. What's been making you smile lately?
Mmm, the fact that I got private English lessons with a = get this = British woman who speaks in this wonderful, wonderful London upper class accent.
8. Television or movies?
TV, definitely. Theres just too much crap on the movies lately, and I find that I dont enjoy even the good ones like I used to. I watched The Godfather for the first time the other day, and I wasnt impressed at all. I think movies have simply ceased to interest me in the ways they used to. TV manages to do that these days. If I had Miss-s meta skillz I would write a little something on that, but alas, I dont.
9. What was the last thing you bought?
A Diet Coke and the alfajor you just saw. Omnomnom.
10. What's the cutest thing you've seen today?
Dunno. My dog, maybe.
11. Do you get cravings? If so, what do you crave?
Chocolate, alfajores, Diet Pepsi, sex. In large quantities.
12. Who would you go gay/straight for?
Natalie Portman. Shes beautiful AND smart.
13. What's your zodiac sign?
Leo. Explains my Cersei Lannister like tantrums, I suppose. Hear me roarz.
14. Do you want to learn another language?
Yep. Im have a really hard time trying to decide which one. Maybe German?
15. Soup or salad?
My sister made me want to eat a good Caesar salad.
16. Favorite place you've ever been?
Disneyworld, Buenos Aires, the Sierras of Minas here in Uruguay, my familys ancestral ranch by the beach.
17. Shoes or barefoot?
Neither. I prefer slippers. I wear them out in like, a month.
18. Say something to the person who tagged you.
Misstopia: my English teacher is a Sagittarius too, and she actually thought I was one because of my interest in foreign cultures. Which really proves that this stuff doesnt make any sense at all, haha.
19. What are you reading right now?
The Cathedral by the Sea by Ildefonso Falcones, in Spanish. It's a really bad book about medieval Spain, but I like the historical details.
A Clash of Kings by George R. R. Martin, which I'm reading in English for the first time. It's a lot better than the Spanish translation, I'll tell you that.
I was also reading Ada or Ardor: A Family Chronicle by Vladimir Nabokov, but it got too pretentious and boring. I'll pick it up eventually.
And yes, I read several books at once. I pick one, read it until I reach a boring part, and pick the next one. It takes me ages to finish a single book, lol. War and Peace, for example, took me about four years to read.
20. What's your favorite animal?
Horses, cats, and birds.
21. What is your favorite vacation destination?
Europe or Asia. Not that Id ever been anywhere near there, but still.
22. Would you say that you're responsible with money?
Not at all. When I have money with me, I absolutely HAVE to spend it.
23. Does the weather affect your mood?
I dunno. I love rain and storms, and I hate sunny days, but today's a grey day and I'm feeling sort of down for no particular reason. Might be the weather. Or maybe I just like grey days when it's raining.
24. What song is in your head right now? If the answer is none, what was the last song you had in your head?
Penny Lane by The Beatles. Also, Waltz of the Flowers. I've recently discovered I like classical music quite a bit. Which, in addition to my recent finding out I love tea, has increased my snobbiness points. The British teacher says I'm more British than she is, lol.
