Title: 20 Questions Prompt: 32. CRACK! Characters: Spider-Man, the Human Torch Word Count: 100 Rating: PG Author's Notes: Yet another one. It's all dialogue and like before, fairly low on the scale.
Don't worry Peter. Spider's don't have a cycle. Thier eggs just wait until for the sperm and then come out in numbers from one to one thousand at a time. So Johnny better use a condom because the pill won't work for you boy. Though it may give you breasts so you might want to try it out anyway.
Ah, but does Johnny know that? (Honestly though, I didn't know that. But then again I have a perpetual fear of spiders, so my knowledge only extents to they've got eight legs, too many eyes, fangs and all three of the spiders that bit Peter (original comic, movie, ultimate) didn't seem to that the male reproductive organ... So technically (depending on just how influencing the spider DNA is on his behavioral patterns) Peter should be having moments were he exhibits the 'typical' behavior of the female spider. (Or he simiply bites durning sex...) I think... maybe.)
Spiders don't have penises they use modified palps(those little wiggley things by thier fangs).
But you can usually easily tell the difference between the sexes because males are usually smaller and more colorfull. If read a little about spiders it becomes clear that their are many similarities between Peter and your average male spider. Notably that they are both cautious of and eager to please the object of thier desire.
I was referring to the palps and the visual difference between the two genders speaks for itself. The size difference is the main reason why I assume the spider Peter get's his powers from is female (though its probably male in the original, since I think they slipped up and used male pronouns when referring to it a few times. Course, they could have just drawn female spiders for whatever reason.) Your point about Peter and male spiders is true, although in the brief time frame before the bite it seemed to me that he already acted like that. I'm probably way out there in thinking that the spider venom would have any effects on his behavior in the first place, but if there's enough spider DNA in his genetic code to give him his abilities, shouldn't there be enough to alter his mindset and behavioral patterns as well?
