It's a fluffy white icing. It nowhere near as sweet as a buttercream frosting. Like most frostings, it contains sugar, butter and/or shortening, and vanilla. It also uses milk and flour cooked together.
It tasted like flour. When I tasted it, it just sucked the moisture out of my mouth. I don't think I cooked it enough. I plan on doing a new post about the finished cake and frosting.
