^___^ I had to add some cute for the angst... pluuuuus this was written with my mother hovering over my shoulder telling me to add a tiny robot because they make everything better.

He just wanted to finish this.

He wanted to make it right to make it work better to make himself worthwhile.
*Pets Tony and his self-worth issues*

Now he had eleven things to do, twelve if you count figuring out how to get the armour on.

I love this bit -- and also Tony's initial horrified reaction when he realizes that Steve's actually been killing people and he's going to be expected to, too. And the way the two of them fall into their roles, Tony becoming the soldier/killer Steve was never quite as comfortable being (because Tony can be ruthless when he has too, more ruthless than Steve likes to be) and Steve getting all into the technology and building himself a tiny Tony.

Thank you so much... I'm glad that I wrote enough snippets for that to become clear because I think Tony takes to it easier and Steve almost sorta coasts and doesn't think as far toward the future as Tony would.
Plans come to him he looks and them and builds what it says without regard to what it may be used to do.

This was interesting. My favourite bits were Steve making a little Tony/Iron Man and of course,

Fingers tracing up he felt the cowl and silly little wings that marked Captain America’s uniform.

because it was about time someone made fun of the wings. They are utterly adorable and I love them, but they are so silly when you think about it. XD

I am always dissing poor Steve's costume- there is a reason only Steve Rogers can be Captain America to me and that in part has to do with the fact that things like those wings are necessary but on anyone else just don't work. A guy can wrap himself up in an american flag but he just won't be Captain America if he isn't Steve Rogers underneath it.

and the Ironman >_<' my mother is laughing an "I told you so" right now.

Hee- little Ironman was my mother's idea she kept poking me going "add a tiny robot- everything is better with tiny robots buzzing around."
Thank you for the review.

This is an awesome idea! I like that it wasn't just them switching bodies, but them being slotted into corresponding roles in their lives and seeing how they would have handled those situations if they were in them. And even as they settled into their swapped roles, neither of them really seemed comfortable with them; they are each much more suited to the roles they have in their own worlds, which hopefully makes them appreciate those roles a bit better.
