In number three you say that you like movie canon, but you meant only that which doesn't directly contradict book canon - right? I'm in total agreement with you about the muggle clothes (nothing makes me spaz faster than armani!draco) but the movies carry a lot of the blame for that trend. I'm facinated by your suggestions for wizard clothing and feeling rather cheated that no one addresses it much in fanfic.
Oh, definitely! I actually had a postscript to that effect, but then I thought I was being too wordy. No, I'm whole-heartedly against anything that contradicts canon, and I generally think the trio need no fleshing out by the movies (although I guess I wouldn't mind fanon Ron being liking booty). But for second-tier characters who don't get enough attention in the books, it's all good!
1. I have a fascination at this point with throwing bits and pieces of the muggle world into the wizarding world, but mostly because I like the idea of the wizarding world falling apart. But mostly I agree with you, even if I will at times through in the movie canon schoolgirl kilts because that is a big, big kink. shh! *hides

THANK YOU for saying that about R/S. Seriously. I am a mad-crazy-shipper, and even I agree wholeheartedly. I don't really GO for the fluffy annoying Moony-Padfoot-blah in genereal. I like Remus/Sirius because it's rife with PAIN AND ANGST and misunderstandings and tragedy and everyone ending up either dead, miserable, or both. FTW. Similarly, WORD about the Tonks thing.
Hi. You dont know me but I'm looking for a Fred/George fic, The Tragicomedy of Weasley Blood, that you wrote a little while back. I love the fic but unfortunately I couldn'd access it anymore. I'm wondering if I can read it again?
