So yea...updating...that thing I don't do very often. I can't remember the last time I updated here and honestly I'm not gonna go look because I was probably sitting in the exact same place doing the exact same thing 6ish months ago and that would just depress me. :P

Re: Home-home is going to be wherever you live, but it's not gonna FEEL like home unless you have easy access to people you care about. Madison and Beloit are your best bets. I was a townie for a year and hung out at BSFFA all the time and it wasn't particularly weird, but then I wasn't gone for a couple of years. I think Madison might be a better fit for you, and it's certainly both a better place to look for jobs and a better place to find new friends who you didn't know in college.

I agree that people definitely make a place home. BSFFA will always feel like home regardless of people, simply because even if I'm not close with the people that are there, they will still be the same kind of people that make that place home. Like I said my main issue right now is that I want to go back to school and take some classes again, but I can't do that and work enough to pay for a place myself. Chances are what I'll end up doing is trying to find a place near Mirkwood/Lighthouse area for myself for a while, getting settled, and then as soon as someone I know is looking to rearrange their living situation pounce on them and find a place, then start taking classes. But again that all has to wait until after I finish my class.
