Mormonism is rooted in polygamy. It does not matter if the mainstream LDS church no longer practices it, and in fact outwardly condemns the practice, that does not negate the fact that polygamy plays a huge part in the LDS belief system

That's actually some scary details in that doctrine you went over. Good to know, though, that you respect other religions quite openly. :) Not many people do that, in my opinion, and surely those that do, need to do it more.

Yeah, I figure any sort of belief system or moral compass means that you're less likely...idk....kill me? Atheists, Christian, whatever, a sense of right and wrong definitely works in my favor, in terms of survival. That's until I piss off some crazy fundamentalist and I'm killed in some sort of ritualistic honor killing, and made into chili.
