Had lots of mindless fun with this one...
Yeah, good times...
Alright, onto the real deal!
As the title oh-so-briefly states, I don't know anything about these ladies. They might be bad actresses, they might be pills in real life, I don't know, they might coldly shoot children's puppies as a hobby, whatever. I have no idea. The reason they're here is merely because I felt sympathetic towards them at first sight. At least they appear (operative word here) to be nice and all. You caught the drift. Let's go to the good stuff already ;)
Here are the ladies! (alphabetically ordered by first name, 'cause I'm anal that way)
Saw her in a Fringe commercial on Warner Channel some moons ago, and felt it instantly. Putting the pics together I thought the sympathy came because of her smile, but thinking back, she wasn't smiling on the brief commercial. That show doesn't seem to display her smiling very much, does it? Very tense, I suppose. Anyhow, I think it might have been the eyes. They have a weird magnetic pull, right? Maybe I should give Fringe a chance. It seems decent. And it has Pacey in it! Could you ask for more? :)
This one here was really hard to track down. I spotted her mug in an icon somewhere here on LJ, I clicked to go to the person's profile to see if the icon had a remark of who the lady was, but it did not. Too easy, right? All it said was "lots". I (clearly) mistakenly thought it had something to do with The Lord of the Rings, because of her attire and the fact I've never seen the films. Long story short, I only found out her name months later when YouTube recommended me a video that had her face on the preview image, and was handly labeled Legend of the Seeker. What's up with YT recommending totally random videos that have nothing to do with your preferences, by the way? Anyway, all I can tell is that the woman is all kinds of gorgeous, and those eyes... I think they are the ones to blame for the sympathy.
I don't really recall where/when/how the sympathy kicked in, but I *do* know it was pre-Glee. It's not really hard to pin-point where the sympathy comes from. Just look at the lady! She has "adorable" written all over her! I'd even watch Glee for her if it wasn't centered on the teens. Well, 20-something actors playing teens. No offense, Glee fans. Don't shoot me or something. I know there are *many* of you out there. I come in peace. It's just that I believe I've long lost my patience for stories revolving around teenagers. Personal taste, that's all...
Ok, in interest of full disclosure, I must say that I've probably seen a handful of Rose's films. So, I know for a fact that she's a very talented actress. And I believe I've seen her on Letterman a couple of times. So, I know she's a pretty nice girl in real life. However, that doesn't change the fact that I don't watch Damages yet. And that I felt sympathy for her *before* I actually saw her in any film. Thus, I'm not really really breaking the rule here. The sympathy thing with Byrne is hard to precise why... It just is. I know, it doesn't make sense.
Spotted her on a magazine cover as I was passing by a newsstand, turned around, picked up said magazine, opened up to peruse the article (that was about True Blood, by the way), was told by the newsstand guy that I couldn't read it without buying it, ignored him for a while, read her name (among other things), put it back, and smiled at the prick on my way out. The woman oozes fierceness and grace, that's where the sympathy came from, I guess.
That's all there is.
Hope it was enjoyable :)
Oh, one last thing, which one of these shows *you* think I should pick up? I might be persuaded by a good reason ;)
