After eight years of deliberation (didn't want to rush into anything, you know) I've made Trace, a Bernese Mountain Dog pup, a part of my family. He's 13 weeks old, I am completely smitten and we are bonding wonderfully

Oh, he's adorable! I think I've seen a puppy like that before, but I didn't know what breed it was. He looks like a Gund stuffed animal. *pets* And he's gonna be a big dog, yes?

OMG Adorable! He will be such a comfort to you. I promise. I'm so sorry to hear about your mother. As a very wise friend said to me many years ago when my father had a stroke "that's where we are in our lives now". Life happens and there's nothing we can do about it but go on. (Of course, I'm sure you already know that from past experience.) Enjoy your beautiful puppy. *hugs you tight*

Aww, he is adorible! You may have took awile to decide but once you did you didn't fool around that's going to be a lot of dog. I hear they are a breed with heart to match their size though.
