End of Semester: Thoughts and Thoughts and Nerves!
So, starting tommarow I'm going to be superbusy at a writers conference/convention thing in Colorado Springs. You might see me online from time to time, but I'm going to be spending the days going to panels and taking in more things about writing.. I'm so excited! Dad and I are going together - he's the one who signed me up for this, and its super expensive. I didn't even know until a couple of months ago - and I'm just psyched.
I was going to get the opportunity to read in front of a panel of authors, but we won't be able to make it in time. Apart of me is relieved and another part is really disappointed. I'm really bad at reading my peices in public - even if its just 10 people in a class room setting - but I really enjoy getting feed back. Even if its negative. You don't learn if you don't make mistakes, I say.
In other news, I'm reaching the end of my last semester (for now) in college. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get an A in Creative Writing, but Ceramics will probably be more like a B or C. I didn't get enough time to do the things I wanted to. That said, I'd like to create a gallery for my clay items, but I can't decide if I want to upload them all onto LJ or just do Deviant Art.
I've also joined an RP game on IJ. I'm apping a character but I'm not really sure how she's gunna take in game. We'll see. I do have an opening line, though, thanks to Roz but like I said. We'll see. Anyway, I gotta sign off and start packing for tommarow. Wish me luck!
