I'm becoming disenchanted with the businesses practices of my work again; but what can you do, huh?  There shall always be money-hungry people 'upstairs' who have forgotten all about ethical care.  They'll do their thing and I'll continue doing it my way, even if it means at a loss.

Dude, I agree with you a million percent. I never understood how someone could go into a profession that is ALL ABOUT helping people and still somehow make it all about the money. It makes more sense if you're running a company that does like, software or something, but seriously? Speech therapy isn't (or shouldn't be) about making loads of money, it should be about helping people

Thank you - I feel a lot better knowing someone feels the same way I do - I mean, I know there are people out there that do, but I haven't spoken to any in a loonnnng time
