facebook?

That really about sums it up. I have been getting some pressure to get a, or start up a, or make a, or what ever is the correct term, a facebook page. So today I caved and did it. It seems like lots of people on here are on facebook too. I think I may have asked some of you to be my friend. That's what it said I was doing ( Read more... )

Meh. It's handy for keeping up with friends who haven't figured out blogging, and for finding people from high school who you haven't thought about (and often don't remember). By the time you figure it out, they'll change the interface anyway.

I've been on Facebook for a couple weeks now, and I can honestly say, it still doesn't make sense.

Not the interface. In spite of the incessant bitching of the other users who actually know what the previous interface looked like and dislike the current one, it does work okay when you get used to it.

But it still doesn't make sense to me. It's not quite on the level of Twitter yet in Great Book of Useless Time Sinks, I still haven't figured out what it's useful for.

I think it's useful because everybody in the universe is on it, so you can become friends with that one girl in high school that you never liked anyway. I'm not sure why you would want to do that, but I did anyway.

It's much more efficient than waiting around in the American Girl store and waiting for high school classmates to appear.
