So I was reading my journal this morning ("write things down when I read my Bible" journal) and noticed how sporadic my reading has been over the past year. I have times when I read the Bible every day and I start to learn more and more about God, then something happens and I stop reading every day and my mind just gets so foggy

They're minds became foggy... No doubt because they weren't going to the one who gave man the mind to think with in the first place..
It's so easy to do, too.. because there's still Christian music to listen to, an occassional pastor on TV/radio (I thought I was ok by doing this.. yeah, not so much).. but just the simplistic act of opening the Bible and just reading/absorbing does SO much for us.
I'd say go ahead and start reading again today.. Now if you can (or maybe on your lunch break).. But start as soon as possible.. there's always excuses for why not to do it. :)

I'd suggest talking to your husband (if he doesn't know now, maybe your asking will encourage him to dig deeper so that he can help you understand), pastor, or other people in the church that may know more about the Bible.. Also try using some commentaries (here's one online: http://www.biblegateway.com/resources/commentaries/ and here's some you can listen to on-line http://www.joncourson.com/store/commentaries/commentaries.asp )
