The week so far.

Well, I had my first week at college (obviously, I'll have classes tomorrow as well) and it was alright. History is the most interesting of the 3 subjects I'm doing, English is a bit of a mess so far, because we have 3 different teachers. Law bores me to death. I so regret taking it, but as my parents practically forced me to do it, I can't drop it ( Read more... )

I wish I could do that, but in UK CL matches start at 7:45 pm and my break is in the afternoon :(

That's tomorrow then? Have fun! ;P

I'm glad to hear that your first week wasn't that bad! It still probably takes some time to get used to everything, but well.

Eh, I hate it when they change timetables and completely fuck them up. And the 3 and a half hour break? I so know what you mean. I had a 4 hour break last year on Mondays and I went home and I absolutely hated going back after the 4 hours, 'cause I was all tired and just so not motivated ;)

Oh, you missed the Johnny goal then and oh, the Johnny/Luis Otp moment! So adorable! *sighs* Good luck with Russian A-levels though, I'm sure you'll do great!

*agrees on Xabi goal* ;)

Thanks ^^
What I like about college, is that, unlike in school, no one cares what you wear/what kind of music you listen to/what your interests are. And I mean that in a good way. No matter what you like, no one is gonna bully you for it. It's a lot like uni in that respect :)

Oh yeah, that's exactly how I feel. Goin there, then back home, then back there is very tiring. Although I'm one of the lucky ones, because a lot of the people I met there live even further away, so that they won't make it in time if they went home. Which is just sad :(

Yeah, I watched it on MOTD afterwards though ;P And thanks *hugs*

Yeah, I know. It's a good thing, isn't it? In school it's so much about being cool and popular and if you're not, people are gonna make fun of you. In uni/college people actually seem to grow up and just accept people. Everyone seems to find people who are just like them. At least, that's my experience at uni.

Yeah, I also live kinda close so that it actually works for me to go home in between and all, but still.. Tiring, so very tiring. So, I do feel bad for people who live too far away and just have no choice but to stay.

Heh! It was so great *squishes Liv'pool boys* :D You're welcome *hugs back* :)

Yep, exactly the same for me. I think things like popularity are not really that important anymore. People are much more serious, because if you don't get a good grade, it won't matter if you were popular or not in school when you're try to find a job, no one will care.

Yeah, and the annoying thing is that the subject I have after that huge break is tutorial where we just feel a bunch of papers and do tests like "What kind of learner are you?" and stuff like that. Thankfully, it won't happen every week.

I'm so tempted to skip my classes on Saturday and go to some pub to watch the match :X
