Birthday Weekend!
Ahh...there's so much to type about, and I will probably forget some of it because I'm so sleepy.
I woke up and got ready for school. It was pretty much just same old, same old. I actually tried to look cute for once though. hehe Alzy came and visited me before she had to be at school for band. She brought me cupcakes, the 3rd Traveling Pants book, a yellow bath poof, and some melon propel (lol don't ask). If nothing else involving my birthday would have happened Friday I still would have been happy. Al really made me feel super special. :)
I went over to Spifferoo's to give her a cd for her cute book project. The Whistle's gave me a great birthday morning/breakfast. Mrs. Whistle told me she heard my name announced on Kiss FM. She said they accidently said my b-day was on Sunday instead of Friday. haha
-College Algebra: Heather gave me my b-day gift which included a sweet card and the new Coldplay cd. :)
-College English: Boooring as usual.
-Accounting: I motioned for a free day, and Mrs. Hoke agreed. We had a fire drill. I decided someone set the school on fire as a present for my birthday. One big beauitful candle. hahaha I listened to my Coldplay cd and was so relaxed I nearly fell asleep.
-Psychology: I talked with the Spaz and took notes.
Lunch: Victoria brought me her famous cookies. Gosh they are soooo good.
-Anatomy: Took notes. Blah.
-Yearbook: Had a party, complete with cupcakes, juice, and dip. Mrs. Hoke was sure to get juice since I don't drink sodas. haha :)
-Model UN: Mrs. Shoemaker thought I was up to something because I was so happy. I told her *gasp* I'm a good girl. I'm happy because it's my birthday. :) lol
After school I went by Joey Glaub's to make an appointment to see my pictures. I get to go look at them Tuesday! :) I stopped by Al's for a bit to say hey, and then headed to the skating rink to wish Shelby Happy Birthday. I saw Mikayla and "Skank" there.
I went by Spaz's house to pick her up. We went to go eat McDonald's and then went to the JHS game. JHS did rather well. I was proud. While we were sitting we had some random Searcy girl come ask us if Ryan McCormack was at the game. Spaz and I were like "What the crap?" and laughed.
Mere made me sooo happy because she gave me the biggest hug at the game. She made my b-day special just with her wonderful mere-bearish presence. hehe
After the game Spaz and I ran to the car. It was freaking cold outside(by the way lol) As we are getting to my car I see Alzy driving off. I try to run and catch her before she leaves, but she's such a speed demon I couldn't get to her in time. She left me a nice note on my car though. :)
Since Spaz and I were blocks of ice we decided to go get coffee. This was a complicated task because Classic Cup and Coffee Gallery were closed. :( We went to BAM and the nice lady gave Spaz free coffee. Spaz left her a big tip, so I suppose the coffee wasn't actually FREE.
Once I took Spaz home I headed back to JHS parking lot to meet Tiff. I got into her car and we drove off to wal-mart to start our night of mischief. hehe First we went to Wal-mart, where I saw Mead, Laura, Brandi, and Earnshaw (I missed you so much Earnshaw!).
Tiff and I looked for the item to complete our mission, but sadly we couldn't find it. We decided to wander around instead. Just some of the things we did included: putting on crazy hats (cowboy and hunting), getting talked to by redneck strangers, riding little bitty bikes, trying on fur coats, and putting together a cart full of "goodies" and leaving it for someone to find. lol
Our next stop was McDonalds. Tiff was supposed to order a pepsi, quesidilla, whopper, and chinese food, but she got to laughing so hard we drove off after the quesidilla. We aren't sure if the guy in the drive thru thought we were high, or really that stupid. I will never forget the crazy voice Tiff used to place that order. It was priceless. I laughed so hard my abs hurt.
Sadly, our night had to come to an end. We had some pretty deep discussions about life and romance before I left. So pretty much the night was a mixture of being retarded and serious. haha I had so much fun that night. Tiff you are an awesome friend, and thanks for giving me an 18th birthday I will always remember. We have to do that again sometime soon. <3
I slept in, but around noon I headed to the school to help sort the battered women items. Amy, Nic, Chelsey, Meagan, Hannah, Lindsey Bolt, Lindsey Stacy, Meg, Lori, Mrs. Roland, and I all had a blast sorting through the 4,000 items. I have never seen so many toothbrushes or cleaning products in my entire life. lol After an hour or two of sorting all of us, minus Nic and Chelsey piled into 3 trucks and headed to the shelter. We unloaded all the items and got to sort them again. hehe We also got to play with some of the kids and talk to the women. They were so happy to see us. It really made me feel great. :) I took Amy Whistle home. I'm so glad she was there. It was really nice to volunteer with her. She is so much fun, and such a sweet girl.
I get home and my parents randomly decide we are going to Memphis. I was excited about it. I got my cds together and a pillow. On the way down I just
listened to music and slept. It was nice. :) When we got there we went to Best Buy so my dad could trade in our crazy lap top for a new one. I walked around the store in awe of the wonderful music collection. I wish we had a Best Buy.
I find so many cds I wanted. I settled on just buying the new All-American Rejects cd. It was only $7.99! :D My dad was happy with the new lap top. He got mad though because they charged us $300 for insurance, when we should get that for free because we bought insurance on the old one and it broke down. *shrugs* I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too.
I decided I wanted to eat at Red Lobster for my b-day. We headed over there and the wait was going to be an hour so we put our name in and went to Barnes and Noble. I found an interesting book on banned books and got it with my b-day money. I spent the rest of my time reading it until we went got our table at Red Lobster. I ordered a virgin margarita and some yummy shrimp. The lady also brought me a piece of cake and ice cream because it was my birthday. I was a little sad though because they didn't sing to me. lol
We got in the van and headed home after we ate. I fell asleep again, and near home Al called me. I talked to her for a bit, and then let her go. They won 1st! I was so proud of them! :) Whose the best band? JHS! Al also called me when I got home. I was sad she was going to be so sleepy. I'm glad she made it through church and work today.

After church tonight, we got some delicious ice cream at Brusters. I pretty much spent the rest of the night talking on the internet instead of working on my scholarship application and burning yearbook pictures to cds. Oh well, somtimes we all have to have a little fun. I will finish everything tomorrow morning...hopefully. lol
At least this week I only have one full day of school. *cheers*
