Darn allergic reactions.

May 30, 2006 02:04

Well the past few weeks I have had to deal with an itchy rash. I went to the doctor and he said that I was allegric to something in my house and that the reaction would pass once I figured out what I was allergic to and eliminated it. The past 3-4 days my itch has gone away, and I was happy, but randomly tonight it has come back. So I must go ( Read more... )

I'm allergic to tabacco smoke too, not highly, but I am allergic. My reactions don't seem to make my throat swell up, thank goodness, but they do make my throat very sore. It's good to know I'm not the only one who has allergies. :)

Could it be those sheets/blankets or maybe cleaning supplies or laundry detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets, etc. You never know about these things.
You're lucky on the thank you notes. I got caught up, then suddenly they multiplied fanatically. I tell you what.
By the way, what were you allergic to?

It's not sheets/blankets. We don't use fabric softner or dryer sheets cuz we already know I'm allergic to those. What is strange though is before the frantic break out I drank a cranberry/raspberry drink. So we are wondering if I could be allergic to that. All I know is I'm going to stay away from those fruits and see what happens.

You know...I've just thought of this, and coming back to it, I want to note that perhaps you are allergic to the summer? I know it sounds harsh, but if you think about it, it's perfectly logical. Very specifically, you break out in The Rash. You cannot risk getting hot, or sweating for that matter, for fear of more brutal redness. My solution to your illness is quite simple. A large dose of Benedryl and a ticket to Canada.

Pickles? Yuck. :P I actually am not very fond of pickles. So I suppose I could be allergic to them, because I never eat them. haha I love you too!
