Well...it's nice to know what being 18 is worth. Not much. I can buy cigarettes, tylenol, porn, fight in the military, but I am incapable of thinking on my own or maturity

Wow everything in the journal entry about turning 18 I totally agree w/... of course I thought I'd be getting the man of my dreams magically when I turned 18.. and I'm sorry that your work sucks, they realy are crap and u don't deserve it, I like your plan of how to quit ;)But evenmore then all of that I hate how boys suck. We as girls shouldn't have to put up w/the crap of boys, who if you ask me never really grow up, thinking because they were born a few years before us that, they magically know everything and we are just dumb. I Love you and I know everything will work out for both of us soon :) <3 Alysa
EW that is lame and sucky! it sounds like one of those 'you can never be good enough for those ppl' situations. ick. well...i hope things turn around soon.
i hope you grow up soon, too, mary ann. i cant tollerate your immatureness anymore. =P actually, ive always thought of you to be one of the friendliest, smartest, maturist [[is that word?]] people i know. no lie.
Aeropostale treating you like crap is completely unjust. I just wanted to get that out of the way before I make my next little comment.
As far as older guys, part of what they are saying is true. In my opninion, 1-2 years older is going to be on equal maturity with you. At 3-4 years older, they WILL have more wisdom and maturity than you, despite your great maturity already... I mean, think about it. A guy that is 3-4 years older than you has done and experienced so much more than you have. I'm sorry MA, but you're still just an 18 year old girl about to start college who hasn't truly experienced life yet(and I realize I'm not even that far). But, I HAVE GOOD NEWS! Once people hit 20 that relationship maturity thing seems to magically start disappearing. Just give it time MA, you've got a whole lot of life and potential guys ahead of you. ;)
And yes, you are still the wise and amazing Mary Ann! Jason
