Wow, it has been forever since I have written. I have just been so busy with school and yearbook. I really miss my journal and my journal friends. My life doesn't feel complete without an lj entry everyday. hehe

Al and I woke up at 6:30 to get ready for our trek to Little Rock. We took showers, got dressed, and ate a wonderful McDonald's breakfast. We got in the car, and started off to Little Rock. The adventure would be much more daring, had we been by ourselves, but on the contrary we were following my parents.

Following parents is not much fun.

My dad either drove too fast or too slow, because my mom was worrying that we weren't RIGHT behind them. I love my parents, but my mom worries way too much. I have got lost a few times, but I would never get lost on the intersate where there are plenty of signs.

Anywho, we got to the school for the TKD tournament, and my parents left for the mall. Al and I walked in, and at first were confused beyond measure. There were so many people moving around doing different things. Joe's mom finally found us and we didn't feel so out of place. She pointed out Joe, who was judging other tkd kids. We sat and watched him judge for a bit. Al's friend Kyle joined us half way through. Finally, we got to see Joe compete, and it was pretty cool. He won 1st in forms and sparring. I was very proud of him. By this point, we were all ready for some food, but Joe had to stay and judge ANOTHER group. We waited paitently, and at last he was done.

We left the tournament around 3ish, and Kyle had to be at work at 5, so we decided to head to Bryant and hang out there. We ate some Little Ceaser's Pizza (Kyle works there), threw a football around lol, went to Wal-Mart, and took Kyle back to work. It was a lot of fun. I had never been to Bryant before, and the sad thing is I don't know if I could get back there even if I wanted to. Oh well, there's always Joe to help with directions. hehe

Al, Joe, and I were left with pretty much nothing else to do, so we decided to drive to the mall. I don't think we did anything productive in there besides eat at the Taco Bell. lol None of us bought anything, we just sort of walked around. What can I say? We are interesting people. lol

It was getting late, and Al and I knew we needed to get on home. We drove Joe to the bowling alley (which looked oddly like a hotel), and talked for awhile. Joe's friend Michael showed up and we all hung out for a bit. We messed around and picked on each other. Al and I tried to tickle Joe until he cried. lol We all hugged and said our goodbyes, and we were on our way, or so we thought. As we were leaving, I realized I wasn't 100% sure which way to go to get back to the interstate. We had to drive back to the bowling alley and ask for directions. Joe and Michael came down to help us, but it wasn't much help. They both argued for about 10 minutes on which way we should go. Al and I finally just drove off hoping we could figure it out ourselves. We did. :) From then on it was easy. We just drove on the highway straight to Searcy. We met my parents at the Searcy Wal-Mart, and my dad drove us from there. Al and I sat in the back and talked.

I was so tired today in church from my trip, but it was definately worth it. I loved getting to hang out with Joe. :)

P.S. Pray for Joe's dad who is having eye surgery. Also pray for my sister, Frances, who hurt her ankle.
