Yes ! / No !

Yes!
  • Eaten well. No late-night snacks, only fast food has been a small Brownie Batter Blizzard from DQ and half of a small cup of french fries. She's fallen in love with our Wrap Bar here-- they make something that totally rivals Subway's Veggie Delite.
  • Exercised. 3 flights of stairs to the dorm in the building and 3 more flights up the side of the mountain used to wind me, but now it's no big deal. She ran tonight for 35 minutes, and this side of town is hilly!
  • Become a neat freak. She's made her bed (*gasp*), picked up all clothing (*gasp*), been insanely anal about the bathroom (*gasp*), and things are beyond organized. (*faint!*) Seriously, this is the weirdest and most unexpected change, but she's Miss Tidy Pants by far. She attempts to ignore the lackadaisicalness of her roommate and her inherant bad and bland taste, but somedays it is difficult.
  • Partied hard, but quit as needed. She had a blast last night and officially loves this town and the ratio of West Texas guys to chicks, but overall, she behaved and was the driver she prefers to be. Once her girls were back home and safe from the boys who followed them back to their dorms and they'd rehashed everything, she slept like you would not believe for the whole two hours she had before astronomy.
  • Kept an eye on Katie. She's definitely doing stupid stuff and trusting boys and men that should not be trusted if you can't play it cool, but someone's looking out for the girl. From experience, you can only learn these things by watching someone screw up or doing it yourself. Katie is taking matters into he own, lost-soul hands.
  • Studied, read ahead, done homework. She's opened the textbooks that cost a small fortune, and read unrequired-for-another-week chapters. She's taken notes outside of class and kept organized. She's trying-- that has never really and truly academically happened. And she's proud. She's going to be somebody here if it kills her. She has enough classes that are completely foreign that might be the right kind of challenge.
  • Kept in touch with the family. In the mornings, she calls her daddy to see how he's doing at home. Around lunch, she emails her mom to tell her the day's happenings. In the evening, she calls both her parents just to say 'hi'. She misses them, and her dog.

No!
  • No home found for Bandit yet. She's worried as hell.
  • Missed her friends excrutiatingly. Noone can fill those voids. Truth.
  • Contemplated murder of roomie occasionally. These times are becoming less frequent, so step in the right direction!
  • Hasn't taken care of finances. Still has books to buy, loans to dispense, and a savings account to start. She doesn't want to think about being poor as of January.
  • Developed severe distaste for Comedy Central and Latin music. Neither sounds good through cinderblock walls, she has decided.
