i've just heard the drive out there sucks... however amtrak from san antone to alpine is suposed to be a pretty nice ride...

Dude, I finally looked up Alpine last night. It's SO not as far away as I thought it was.

369.8 miles from S.A. to Alpine.

I always thought it was, like, 600 miles or something.
