A friend’s recent use of that phrase tickled my fancy, and got me thinking about family histories, telling stories, and more. What a surprise! I was looking at the pictures on this entry when I thought, Hey, that's my block (I live a few buildings after the one on the far right. And I see P.S. 40 every day when I walk past the playground between 20th and 21st St. Too bad I didn't know you were here. We could have gotten together. Maybe next time.
