Is it true that there can be too much of good thing? If so, I am definately currently experiencing it. Everyone knows I am tree hugger, I am not ashamed, but this week I feel like I am living and breathing (not sleeping) environmental causes. Were you arguing the positive or the negative?

My argument was that because business must remain profitable, consumers or government must impose thier ethics on business for business to follow any sort of ethics. A good example is a greenhouse gas cap and trade program. It is hard for any business to spend its capital on research and development to reduce greenhouse gas emissions unless there is an outside potential for profit established.
