Finally, it's back and from what I've read, it's back to its first season goodness.  The characters aren't all off in their own little shows, there are no murders or live in nurses.  Thank God!  Don't get me wrong, season two was still better than anything else on television, it just wasn't up to the perfection that was season one ( Read more... )

We had it before, but we were some of the first customers and didn't get any of the good deals. No free dvr, no free receivers for other rooms, just one lousy receiver. So, we quit with them. It took FNL to bring me back and now we got the deals.

My only dilemma is tonight is the first Cubs play-off game. I'm hoping it ends before FNL comes on, but we have the dvr set for FNL and we have the dvd-r ready to record the Cubs. We tested that last night and it seemed to work, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

No way! Not you! ;-) I just wish I didn't work a 12 hour tomorrow. I love reading the stuff on twop afterwards, but I'm sure it'll be a lot slower this year since half the people won't be able to see it.

I can't figure out if they're doing the recaps from this, or from the NBC version.

I think they're doing recaps during the DTV run, but I'm still not sure. But it should be interesting to see how many people post in the epi thread after tonight's episode.

You can't drop your home phone with DTV if you want to have either the sports package or order DTV last I knew. Have they changed their policy? Still not sure I'm ready to drop our home phone though.

We weren't planning on having the sport package or using the pay per view, which I think you also need a landline for. Otherwise, everything else works just fine with no home phone. :-D
