Two weeks of regular exercise finished successfully. Walked 3 times/week for specified length of time. All of next week except Monday will be done in Seattle which is definitely more of a challenge than the Bay Area for a walking program. I don't know if I could say I loved it, but I certainly found it fascinating and compelling. I've somehow managed not to read any Peter Dickinson until quite recently and am trying to make good on that. The books are a little hard to come by though. Do you have any other especial recommendations of his work?

It's been cold here -- i've had a couple people remark to me that it feels colder than 40F should feel -- but at least it hasn't been raining. I don't mind the cold so much as i mind the cold + rain. UGH.
