We're having some people for dinner Christmas eve so I'm busy getting ready for that. We've also go invitations for Christmas day and Boxing day. What a whirl of gaiety

I hope you have a wonderful time at all your holiday events, esp. your own Christmas Eve dinner. I think I like giving parties more than I like attending them, myself - or I did when I had my own house and the physical ability to work that hard.

I like her books but I'm not sure if I'd recommend them. I like them mainly for a look at what life was like in Roman Britain; the mystery aspect isn't anything to write home about. I do enjoy them though.
