I remember the show about it, and those people pissed me off. They were just living normal lives pretending nothing ever happened. They had to expect to land in jail, so I wouldn't worry about making their lives less happy. They probably don't have a good explanation because they seem a bit mentally ill and definitely self serving, but you have every right to tell them who you are and ask for what they've got. Anyhow, I shall see you at the lake:)

I didn't know that you watched that show. Yeah, I feel that this is all self-deserving for them. I mean, even if it wasn't me or my dad, I will still be like 'did the crime, now you do the time'. Though she went up for parole in December and they are supposed to aware the family if she goes up for it whether she is granted it or not. Nobody contacted us. So that kind of pissed me off.
But yeah, I will see you at the lake tonight.
With the day I had, I need to walk off some steam.

Since I work for an attorney, I had planned on explaining the situation to him and getting somewhat of a legal aspect of it from him as well
