In a desperate effort to locate some holiday spirit, I dove into Youtube today. I'm really excited about the season premiere of The Sing Off Monday night, so I started there.

Impromptu a capella is even better, IMO.

And he's a fascinating judge, on The Sing Off. He's my favorite kind -- he's constructive, but he clearly brings SO much musical knowledge to his critiques. Listening to him, you really learn something about music. He describes what he's hearing when he judges, and it's a lot more than I'm hearing, so it's really fascinating.

It's all Mary's fault....I've been watching youtube videos of these guys now for like an hour. I'm watching someone's videos of their Indy show that my mom and I almost went to. I'm so mad we decided not to go (we were leaving to go out of town at 5:30 the next morning....)
