Well, I know there's the typical "doing the opposite of your parents" thing, but I think it's overrated in the long run at least. You're of an age to be settling in on what you believe, regardless of what your parents do. My folks are accepting, as am I. One of the coolest things about Big-B's first playgroup was that although the parents were all American/Canadian, the grandparents came from all over the globe, and spoke a variety of languages. Just the sort of folks I wanted him to have as his earliest friends. And I hope he grows up to be accepting of everybody, but at some point that will be his decision.
