No, it's not her responsibility to make sure her fiancé doesn't cheat. It's her responsibility to take it on board when a man refuses to take her back. Which Matthew did in 2.06. But she didn't let him. She said so explicitly. She is denying him the right and the possibility (physically speaking, as he couldn't walk away) to make his own decisions when she returns and I think that's unacceptable. It
