Master list of K/S Favorites - Vids & Online fiction

**Last updated January 10, 2011**

Livejournal informs me this list is now too long, so I've split it into 2; in this part you'll find the K/S vids and online fiction; zine, art and Shatnoy will be in another one. Due to mysterious computer settings updating on LJ is very problematic; for a more up-to-date version of my lists, please see my blog

Hello! I just saw that beautiful icon of M.Monroe you have. Do you know where I could find a bigger version of it? Please?

Thanks for the compliment :). I fell in love with that picture the second I saw it - so elegant with a touch of innocent sensualilty you don't see in Marilyn often. And she looks so young. Here's a link to the original I used; it's 347 x 461. I found it via a good old Google search :). Enjoy!

Is there a chance some of these fics are located elsewhere? The ksarchive refuses to load for me. I don't know if the server it's hosted on is down or something, but I've been looked for K/S recs and practically every single one seems to be located on the ksarchive. arrggg!

I believe only half of those are from the archive, but yeah, it's still a good number. The archive is so convenient. I believe I have seen most, although not all, of the ones I linked to the archive for in other places, but I would have to dig. You can try trekiverse.org; it's much less user friendly, but you can still find fics by titles. If you have any specific fics you are interested in, tell me and I'll check if there's another link I can give you :)

And by the way you reminded me that I really needed to update this. I've added several titles to this list since then but haven't updated my LJ version.

Here's a list of the fics I REALLY want to read:

Pacing the Cage
The Warrior’s Way
Liar’s Itch
Desert Heat
A Song of Distant Shores
Mazel Ra
Mazel Tov
Coming Home
Moment of Our Silence
Cave Paintings
Rumor Has It

LOL I know it's not very short, but you recced so many interesting ones! Stupid ksarchive has to go and ruin my fun.

Oh, and by the way, that trekiverse.org link doesn't work for me either. I have no idea why those two fanfiction sites won't load.

OK, a few of those were originally published on LJ so I can provide the links easily. Here they are:
Mazel Ra: http://verizonhorizon.livejournal.com/9652.html
Mazel Tov (sequel): http://verizonhorizon.livejournal.com/11452.html#cutid1
Coming Home: http://awarrington.livejournal.com/3045.html

Link is for the first chapter of each story, but I checked quickly and I believe each chapter includes a link to the next one so you should be OK :).

Lyrastar also has all her KS available on her own site, so here's A Ssong of Distant Shores:
http://liquidfic.net/song.html

For the rest, I'll have to dig when I get back home :)

:-D I'm glad I could give you your first rec! Your story deserved it, it was really good. Although I will confess to preferring your original version of this story to the later edited one you published at ASCEM... I'm not sure if I'm a meanie who likes Uhura not being loved as much by Kirk and Spock than they love each other, or if it's simply because the first version came first and I was used to it :). In any case, I'm looking forward to more stories from you :).

I hope you could find some new interesting stories to read among the rest of the list :)!

Um, that's a interesting point. I hadn't thought of Uhura as being "content" at the prospect of staying home and having babies, so much as resigned and trying to make the best she could of the situation (which wasn't much, but better try to see things in as positive a light as possible). But I can understand your point :). Being a writer isn't easy, there's always so many ways things could go and you can only pick one.

And glad that at least you found good stories to re-read :)
