This post has been taken down because yet another person has chosen to misinterpret me.
I've been told throughout my life that I'm a nice person. Apparently, I'm not.
Oh, honey. You're such a big person, to apologise for maybe hurting someone's feelings. However, it does make me a bit sad to see you roundabout apologising for being angry in the first place. I suspect you and I are a lot alike in this-- it's better to shut up and hurt than speak up and bother people, neh?
If forgiveness is a needful thing for you, then you certainly have mine. I think you also need a *hug*, because you've been suddenly sucked up into a situation that would hurt anyone, and that certainly would give cause to behave. . . a touch less gracefully than normal.
Done. I look forward to getting to know you better.
Which reenactment group do you play with? I saw that on your journal.
As you can tell, I've been in the SCA since rocks were in beta testing and they didn't have a word yet for ancient. I have recently dipped a toe into the Adrian waters again.
Hooray. :D I've already scanned the first page of your LJ and I think I'm going to enjoy being here!
I'm a part-time player in ECS, which if I have my lineages right, Adria branched off of? I forget. I just had my first babycakes so we don't go out very often this time of year but I'm having fun in the background. I'm currently one of the Kingdom of Vega's officers (Rolls & Lists, or current members and their respective points) and I also help the current TRM with their arts projects. I'm growing more and more obsessed with my upcoming bliaut which is one of the reasons I've been traveling all over LJ-land looking for experienced costumers and such... Wow, I'm a little babbly right now. :)
Actually, many, many years ago, Adria was started by a former squire of my former husband and a few of our other friends. Said squire was kvetching about how the SCA granted rank, and said husband (his Knight) retorted, "If you don't like it, why don't you start a group of your own?"
And so it was done. My apprentice and Lady Companion still has the original paperwork by which Adria was founded.
I'm not familiar with ECS. I'd like to find out more.
Congratulations on the little one. My son and his lady are about to pop with my first grandson. She has two daughters as well, my beautiful granddaughters. It seems just yesterday (yeah, yeah, blah, blah) that my own two children were tiny. I can talk baby stuff all day long!
If you'd like to stay on, I'll keep you. I found myself skipping over your pictures, I regret to say, and that seemed to be the bulk of your posts for the past several months. You're back.
Last few weeks there was a substantial number of writing only posts too. I'm trying to post a family note each Monday, with weekend activities and more. Certain notes on other things during the week, including meme's humor and other activities. The photos I'm playing catch up andtrying to limit pictures to bursts (as well as put mostly behind cuts).
