In case any of you all thought I died, nope, I went to Chicago for the weekend on Friday. Trip was epic. Below the cut is a report on the trip, complete with photos. Enjoy!

GUH, I was sad that I had to miss out on the Field Museum last time I was in Chicago. I saw that advertisements for the pirate thing all over town and made interested faces, but just got too caught up in other stuff. I haven't been in the museum since...WAAAY too long ago. XDD

Aw, sucks. It was really cool. I wish I would've made it to the Museum of Science and Industry's Harry Potter exhibit, but we didn't have time.

I've never been to Chicago, but it looks interesting as far as a world(?) city goes.

What kind of camera are you holding in that picture?

Yes, the kitty was adorable! One of my trip highlights was that kitty x3.

Chicago is nice. I'd recommend visiting it sometime.

That's a Canon K2 Rebel film SLR. I believe it has a telephoto lens on it in the picture, but I'm not sure since I switched lenses a lot up there. I got it a while back when I needed a film camera for my photography class, and I love it to bits. I'd like to get the digital version someday, but for now my little green Polaroid is good enough. All the pictures that are in that album are from the Polaroid. I haven't developed the film from the Canon yet.

My sister has a Rebel too, but it's a digital one. She sometimes lugs it around when we go places. Haha.

This is true, though we weren't downtown much except when I was with Katie, but yeah, I should've thought of that. I didn't know/remember that you actually lived in Chicago, though.

Next time for sure!
