Changing over day

Since the temperatures looks unlikely to warm up again for quite a while, I spent most of the morning changing over the wardrobe from summer to winter. This will keep me from having to wear my old, ratty "household chores" sweatshirt out in public

What with marketeers and politico's I have an answer machine. I sit or stand there with my teeth clenched until I hear the click of some turd hanging up. Yes, I am on the do not call list and if I tell them so, they happily explain why it doesn't pertain to them. I am going to change the message to tell them to call me on my cell phone. I Never tell anyone what the number is. heh.

I don't think there is anything that can be done about the land line: we're in the phone book, and I suspect also the number had to be given when originally registering to vote (I've had the same land line phone number for over 43 years now).

We get recorded calls from both parties since we are not both registered to the same one. There are also many ones which claim to be some sort of foundation or non-profit conducting a survey... and then the first question is about which candidate I am planning to vote for.

What I would really like for Tuesday is a recorded message of my own which tells every recorded call "I have already voted. There is no point in calling me now."
