Birthday party!

For the first time in many years, I had a birthday party (arranged by Steve, my husband). It was a day late because it is probably not going to work very well if you ask people to come to a birthday party on Dec. 25.

My brother shares your birthday. This year, after his wife's family dropped out of the Christmas Day plans, my brother decided that since it was his birthday he could do what he wanted, so he went to Las Vegas to gamble and drink bourbon.

I hope you had a happy Christmas birthday, too.
