It's been a sad morning. One of Steve's co-workers passed away last night. She suffered a stroke 3 years ago (and she was not an old woman), never recovered enough to return to the classroom, and then last year was found to have an inoperable brain tumor. Survived by her husband and one son who is only a junior in high school (and attends the school where his mother taught and where Steve is still teaching).
I do not know yet when the funeral is scheduled or if Steve will want to come home early from VA if the funeral is a day or two after Christmas. He took her stroke very hard since she was much younger than he and she was so much more severely impacted by hers.
I don't know. I will make a note of what the screen message is I get when trying to access the site and let Nic know (message on FB) to see if he can be of any help.
