We are doing a pot luck at work today for a friend's birthday. She's vegitarian so I figured the signature sausage puffs wouldn't go over so well. So I thought I'd try to make bruschetta. I asked my Ma for her recipe and looked one up on food network and decided to combine them. I bought all the ingredients on Tuesday, knowing we were going out

chris cooks for me too. he assembles little toasted sandwiches with all sorts of sliced goodness and sriracha. and makes me soup. and lentil sloppy joes. and grilled eggplant with olive oils and garlic. but sometimes he makes a mistake and puts way too much chipotle powder, so my mouth feels like it's on fire. but all in all, it's good to have a wife.
