i  STILL havent threaded that serger mom gave me. i want to make a friggin grey cutsew (i bought grey jersey on clearance like a year ago at beverly's), or possibly re-construct one from a black tshirt *ponders*

anyone have any tips?

Go for it! I used to be SOOO afraid of threading the serger and it took me forever to even venture to try. But once you do it a few times, it becomes SUPER easy! ^_^

A Grey cutsew sounds nice and cute, I love sergers, there so useful...

Go for it! Threading any serger is a bitch, but once it's done it stays that way for a long time (you can change the bottom looper threads by just tying on the new colour and carefully feeding it through individually, which saves tons of time rethreading).

Good luck! Cutsews are tons of fun and easy to make (unlike blouses, the finicky bastards).
