And so it begins.
That TV program was a wonderful start, but they can't scare a Detective. I would very much like it if I were able to examine that town's massacre myself, but I suppose even I, Furudo Erika, can not be granted everything.
tsk.
Not that it matters.
The video almost implies that some force may have caused ( Read more... )

You're... duct taping the houses? Really?

*starting to regret giving you her address*

Just the doors and windows. It will still be possible to open them, but I will know if they're opened.

... you're going to end up with a lot of broken duct tape.

I'll do it at night. Surely no one will leave their houses at night, unless they shouldn't be.

Hmph. Resorting to those old tricks, is it?

And many more, Beatrice. Don't worry. I won't crumble your illusion just yet, so enjoy your fantasy for a while longer.

.... [ cackles! ] Kihihihihihi! As I said, there are those who believe so strongly in the existence of a witch within this place already! It's foolish to think you'll claim checkmate so easily!

Why ductape?

Duct tape is strong enough to only be broken when the door is opened or closed, and not fall off just because it rains or due to some other interference.

Couldn't someone just take them off all the doors?

Even if they did, they would have to do so from the outside, since I won't be sneaking into people's houses. [ Though she totally would if she could. ] It would tell me that someone had at least approached the door from the outside and decided to remove the tape, or had opened the door from the outside and removed the tape. Either way, it would still prove that the closed room scenario had been ruined, and that the residents inside can be suspects.

Sealing up all the houses with ductape? Can you really manage that without your detective authority?

marysueoftruth January 26 2010, 03:46:23 UTC
Not having my authority is not a problem! I can still solve this mystery! And sealing houses with ductape is possible for me. I'll have Dlanor help me.

Why are you suspecting those who are in the same situation as you? ...You didn't really learn anything from the last game.

It's already impossible for anyone here to be the culprit. We cannot leave this town, yet the next town over has been massacred. No one here can get there, so no one here could have done it.
Which is why I'm going to prove which of the town's authority figures committed the crime, to the point that no matter how much brainwashing they do, they cannot disprove their guilt.

Duct tape. An interesting, if repetitive move.

Don't forget to watch the sky.

It is only a start, I promise, My Master. I am simply preparing the first step in establishing my mystery.
