1: Sugar high

Honestly, it was the last thing anyone had expected.

Poison? Sure. Low grade qualities in the energon they distilled? Happens once in a while.

But this?!

"What..." Megatron was even at a loss as he stopped and stared at the vehicons on deck. "..In the name of Unicron happened?"

"Well... You see... Lord Megatron..." Of course both Knock Out and Starscream were jittery; the former did no better than the latter as he forced the words out. "It appears that the organic compounds in the mine we excavated this energon from managed to seep through the distilling process..."

"What sort of compound, exactly, was it?" Megatron seethed.

"Something that the humans call, if I recall correctly..." Starscream had sidestepped quite a bit away. "'Sugarcane'. They grow it and harvest it to digest."

Megatron didn't even bother to look up what 'sugarcane' actually was; all that he knew was that three quarters of the vehicons both on and off duty were suddenly as high as turbofoxes on stick boosters
