This is the BBC Sherlock verse. ANYTHING can be the punchline of a 221B. In fact, I made a worryingly long list of the ones that have already been punchlines for me:

bisexual, boring, blessed, black, bent, brilliance, bed, beloved, beautiful, back, bulldog, broken, bigots, bastards, blue, breathe, Bangkok, Bognor, backside, beating, bizarre, Belgian, [Anne] Bonny, Bambi.

Maybe when I don't have too many plot bunnies already, I ought to ask for suggestions for 221B end words. Though what my flist might come up with is slightly alarming to contemplate. And yes, 'baroque' would be difficult.

Thanks for including the link - it's quite hard to find kalypso_v's fanfic on her LJ, since it's cunningly hidden away, and I wouldn't have thought to look elsewhere for it. A very neat bit of metafic.
