I just read it through from the start to here, very enjoyable! I love the way you weave your events around the canon happenings and the low-key realism of the feelings and actions. I look forward to seeing where you take this.

Thanks for the comment - I've just put the next part up, in which Greg once again gets kicked in the teeth by Fate (and Sherlock). But I think Series 2 Lestrade really does have a rotten time, so if I'm staying faithful to canon I can't make this too happy.
