Yeah, wedding planning can be a nightmare! I'm told that I was evil the entire week before mine--but I thought it was worth it! But it's different when you're the bride. Helping one of my best friends prepare for her wedding was rough, but I think that was mostly because she was marrying a crazy man who wanted everything HIS way.

I hated wedding planning. It was such a tough time for me. I wanted to do what you want to do -- just show up at the clerk's office with two witnesses and just have a simple wedding with no frills. It's inexpensive, intimate, and it gets the job done! But I am the oldest child, and my husband is an only child, so we were strongly urged to have a big wedding for the sake of our families. I would never do it again.

I'm the younger child out of two. I don't want to have big wedding cause it means spending big money on one evening instead of spending it on an apartament or a dream journey for example. Just me, my partner and our friends.
