Hello all. I have been away, yet again, so sorry for the complete lack of human life from my end. Went away to celebrate my Grandma's 70th, it was so great. I worry for her though, she didn't think she was going to live until now, and she is beginning to think of herself as old. She never thinks of herself like that, and that's why she's stayed ( Read more... )

latelyontime. Sorry isn't really the right word, because I havent done anything, but I am. I'm sorry your

friend is going through hell at the moment, and I'm sorry you're ill. It seems so inadequate when I say it, but

just know that I really am thinking of you. I may not know you that well, but I consider you a good friend

because you're unlike anyone else I know, and much more than a brilliant writer. And to use the other cliche,

I'm here if you need me...
thank you so much. Just like the Sorry, the thank you also feels so inadequate - so indifferent somehow, wrapped in centuries of overuse and casual nonsense. But that mention meant a lot to me. I have been recovering already and many people have given time, care and attention ( ... )

Thank you very much for the equally nice reply. And I appreciate the concern for my dad, it means a lot. Lol, since we're both using the cliches I feel the need to quote and say 'I hope this is the start of a beautiful friendship'! Well, I do. *beams*.
