so... I'm kinda bored... and kinda tired (2,5 hours of sleep tonight - YAY me! :/) which makes me quite incoherent and virtually unable to grasp the finer points of the excise tax (bleh). half of the people here went on vacation and I'm sitting alone in my room.... no one even called to want me to do some stupid work stuff and there

you're right, the question isn't as simple, as I thought... it also got me a few hours to think about someone fictional that would be like you. I didn't find a perfect match and I probably could be waaaaay off mark, so don't get offended, if you don't agree with me, k? since lately I haven't read many books and you know how I am about movies... yeah, I went through tv shows I watch(ed). I considered Lee Adama (BSG) for a moment but he's much too screwed up... then I thought about another BSG character - Helo, but in the end I settled on someone a tad similar but less... soldiery, lol. so, my bet would be on... Alex Whitman from Roswell. of course it's mostly determined by the side I know you from - he's a great and loyal friend, always willing to help and/or listen... he's a gentle heart and a kind soul and emanates warmth from the centre of his being. you can't not like him. :) I don't think you're as dorky or geeky as he, though *hug

Hi! I'm not really good at coming up with these kinds of comparisons unless they whack me over the head. But I realized I didn't have you on my flist and wanted to rectify that, if you'll have me *blushes*

OK. I have to admit that I'm stumped. I don't really watch that much TV... But I'd say you're totally a Cameron before they turned her into Kate this season (House). And a Scully. And Jack. And Sam on Stargate (and future Atlantis... which I might have to watch now just cause she's there.)

Oh, wait... all those people? Those are me. :D

And I think we both have a little bit of Susan, Death's daughter in Prattchet's Discworld. :D

lol - so you think we're similar? that's a compliment, so thank you *bows* :D. I must say that I wouldn't think of comparing myself to most of these characters - they have much too much dedication to their work, while I tend to be lazy and though I love my job, I gladly leave it every afternoon to enjoy life (in my rather lame way which is more sitting in front of my computer than anything else :P). but besides that... yeah, I have some of their characteristics :). and let me tell you, I love the thought of you watching SGA (and I bet you knew that bringing that up would brighten my morning! :P), even though getting Sam in it meant that Elizabeth Weir is mostly off the picture and I like her too - she's a part of my ship, as well, so I'm not that happy that her role will be so diminished *sigh
