YAY! thankies, Button! :) *HUGS* my mood got better instantly :D. nice icon, btw :) this snowman's gloves are cute :P. poor MrB. - no regular weekends don't sound good in my book... but my closest free weekend seems soooo far away right now that I can't really muster energy to be grateful that usually I do have them... *sighs* six-working-day weeks are horrible and when you have two in a row... okay, I'll stop right now, before I get all cranky again ;). thanks for filling the space under my Christmas tree - it makes me feel all giddy inside (I'm so easy to please, sometimes, lol) *smooches*

Hee, by now you got a nice gift collection lying there under you tree :D Btw, you decorated your room really nice ;)

Yeah I love the snowman gloves in that icon too :D

Yeah, M. has also two six-working-day weeks in a row, and he's gone for 12 to 13 hours a day (including the drive, but still)!!

Have nice Sunday sleep ♥

ouch! for M.'s schedule. 12-13 hrs a day for 6 days a week? poor guy! and poor you for being separated from him for almost whole days, even though it's still improvement from a few months back... *huggles*

yup, got your PM - was going to answer right after finishing replying to comments... but my computer was working sooooo slowly that it was driving me insane. I decided to give him a little break - good decision, now it's working better :). I'll reply to your PM soon :-*

I´m sorry you have to work on a Saturday. That definitely should be illegal. But YAY! for a work-less Christmas and New Years Eve!

I hope you like my present. I made them myself :)

*hugs*

these cookies are YUMMY! go exteremely well with milk I had in my fridge ;). I think that if your first choice career doesn't pan out, you can bake cookies for living, my dear *hugs*

on working on Saturday... the worst part is not work itself but having to get up for the sixth time in a week early in the morning - I love my beauty sleep *sighs*. for now the working week ended, fortunately. tomorrow I'm implementing my ambitious plan of doing... nothing :D

Working on a Saturday? God, that should be banned! I left you a present sweetie, because yes, you deserve it! Don't share it with your boss, though! :D

in all honesty I prefer working on a Saturday to working on Christmas Eve... but TWO working Saturdays IN A ROW is too much... bleh... well, I'll survive thinking about this insane amount of free time I'll have at the end of the month :P.

candy! YUM! between you and verde04 I'll get all fat and pimply but I don't care - I love my sweets :D. I still have candies from England I've been giving out - my boss can have some of them, but the candies from you I'll save for myself :P. thanks, honey *hugs*

Awww, I'm really sorry you have to work a couple of Saturdays in a row. That is no fun at all. I've never had to work on the weekend while working here, but I have to do something kind of similar in order to get Christmas Eve, the day after Christmas (which I just have a feeling now I won't want to come in that day) and New Year's Eve off. I only have a couple of discretionary days (as they call them) a year and I've saved them until the end so I can use them the day before and after Christmas. I would love and am so tempted to take off the whole week and basically get like a 10 day holiday, but I really shouldn't do that. I have to take off New Year's Eve though because we always go out of town to visit family. But I won't have any more paid days off, so I'll probably have to do what I did at Thanksgiving, which is working two 12-hour days the week of New Year's to make up for it, which really sucks. But oh well, it's Christmas, right? It's worth it. At least that's what we'll tell ourselves ( ... )

12-hour days??? poor you! I think my brain wouldn't be able to work for such long periods of time... it really sucks that in order to get free days we have to strain ourselves so much :/. but you're right, Christmas is worth it... it's the organizational part that annoys me - I don't see why we couldn't work last Saturday and, for example on the 15th? or maybe in January? just not two in a row, because that's cruel imo. my Sunday basically sucked, so I started ANOTHER 6-working-days-week with close to none rest :(. I hope the next Sunday will be better for me, because I need to relax some, damn it ( ... )

Ugh, yeah, after the two days in a row I was about brain dead. The worst part, really, is that with so much time at the office, there was really no time to do anything else that I needed to get done. I'm really sorry that your one day off wasn't restful and relaxing.

Well, it won't get too much better. That's one of the biggest issues, along with pay, that I have with working here. We get three discretionary days per year, after our first year we get a week vacation, after two years we get two weeks, and it's either after three years or five years that we get three weeks vacation a year. The problem is you really have to pay your dues to get to that point, and I don't see myself being here 3-5 years. The problem with so few days is you start to feel trapped. Like I can never take a day because I'm burned out; you really can't afford to get sick or anything like that.

OMG, 26 vacation days would be a DREAM. Why don't you use one of your 5 left for Christmas and/or New Year's?

oh yeah - I hate when work prevents me from doing anything else because I'm out of time and/or energy. after 12 hours I'd probably be able only to crawl to bed to have some sleep. I hope that, if you really have to do this, these long days will be as pleasant as it's possible under these conditions *hugs ( ... )
