bad thunderstorm *kicks*

as most of you know, I had to leave our party rather abruptly yesterday... thunderstorm was so bad that at one point the floor shook under my feet because of the vibrations thunders were causing. I just couldn't risk frying my computer... the storm still raged outside my window when I was going to bed...

just to show you how last night looked in ( Read more... )

HOLY SHIT! that's some crazy stuff!! so glad you're safe *huggles* I got back just as you were leaving to tell you I'd been dragged away, so I had to leave too :p
Thursday should be fine to me, and I am sorta kinda planning to take Friday off, so I can stay up longer :D

yeah... it was a bit scary I guess... or it could have been but I was too annoyed about the storm messing with our party to get scared by it...

it's kinda funny that you couldn't stay either... I'm letting my paranoid self out to play, because it seriously sounds like conspiracy to me. we had mother nature against us (Katrin & me), technology (Claudia) and family members (you ;)) - it's a small wonder we managed to chat a bit at all! poor Tiff - we left her alone (oops!)

we'll see about Thursday... I think there can be problems with Tiff - it's the middle of normal day for her, after all. but she said yesterday that she has days with plenty of free time, so maybe Thursday will be one of them...

YAY for free Fridays, btw :)

Wow, those pictures are amazing! And yes, I mean the lightning ones ;p

It IS kinda funny that most of couldn't be online last night, and I guess that bad weather front over Europe must have been pretty big ;) This morning we had fresh snow on the top of the mountains and it was frakking cold O.o

But don't be grumpy! We'll have your party somehow, no worries :)

pfft! I personally prefer the later batch, but it's just my poor obsessed self ;). yes, these lightnings looked pretty amazing but it doesn't make up for the fact that they ruined my plans for the evening. but I feel better knowing that other girls had trouble with joining the chat as well - that way it's not like everyone was there but me.

this weather front has to be massive! these kind of storms were all over Poland last night! o.O

snow? SNOW? oh well, it's mountains for you, I guess :P. but I have to admit it's a pretty strange July, weather-wise.

I know we will :). grumpiness was of general nature, too - wasn't in the mood to work and wanted to go home, you know how it is ;)

Well it's not much and won't last long, and it's only at the top... but still, I was quite surprised. And heck yes, this whole year is strange, weather-wise!! Spring came so late here, and summer is supposed to be sunny like crazy here, and not with thunderstorm fronts that hang in here for three days and more *i iz a bit grumpy too* (not just because of the weather...blah) ;) I just hope it'll be better during my parents' visit :/ *fingers crossed*

Sweet dreams! ♥

Oh, wow. I'm so glad you shut off your computer so the storm didn't kill it. In that first picture, it looks like the lightning is zapping that huge building. But I do have to admit, it's gorgeous in an awesome kind of way.

Nah, you didn't leave me alone. I ended up getting a work out in, so it was okay.

I'm not really sure about Thursday. I don't think I'll be getting out as early this week, so I probably won't be finished until at least 3 or 4 p.m. my time, which is something like 10-11 p.m. for y'all. It's kind of a day-by-day thing, too, unfortunately, since we have different presenters each day that vary in length. Somehow I'm not too sure I'll be having many more days where we're gone by noon. But just let me know, and I will try to make it. Damn time difference. Our first live chat together was cut way too short.

'it's gorgeous in an awesome kind of way.'
yeah, it is. there is something quite beautiful in the dangerous and destructive power of lightnings, isn't it?

'I ended up getting a work out in, so it was okay.' phew. good to know :)

I agree that the chat was cut way too short :/. I really hope you'll make it on Thursday. damn time difference, indeed *sighs*

That was one hell of a storm... And I'm all for enjoying the hotties in the rain. ;)

last year we had storms even more impressive - there were so many lightnings that the sky was almost white... but it was contained in a relatively small area, while on Sunday the storms raged all over the country...

'And I'm all for enjoying the hotties in the rain. ;)'
you and me both :D.
