let's see... Pushing Daisies proved that cheese is good with anything and goes wonderfully with pie. pie is in the sweets family as are cookies, thus should be treated identically, so as not to abuse constitutional equal treatment rule. and since cheese goes with pie as sort of a topping ingredient (see PD for visual confirmation) being a small part of a bigger whole, it should adhere to the same rules as the rest of the dessert :P. if it falls under these rules when it's a part of a pie, the cheese that is not a part of a pie should be obligated to follow them as well (again, equality of treatment ;)).
